If he bought all of these items at release, and i'm assuming he did if he started his collection years ago, then he will definately make a killing based on the fact that many of those items are rare and are going for more than the original retail price years ago. Not to mention you have to account for inflation.

I pre-ordered the massive bundle months ago at gamestop. I have waited for this game since Samba De Amigo on the dreamcast first came out.
Not to mention it's by the original creators of GH so you know it's going to scream originality all over it... unlike GH3 which only brought online play... which is just the same as regular multiplayer, but not nearly as fun because you can't make the person you just beat chug a beer because he lost to you.... ahh good times.

Uhh, maybe because this is nothing like GH3... due to the fact that there are a mic and drumset. Believe me, no one would go out of their way to buy this if it was just a guitar and just another GH game... but it's not that at all

Everyone I know, including me, is dishing out the $$$ for the bundle the day it comes out. I don't understand why anyone would think this game would do bad... as well as guitar hero has done, why wouldn't a game incorporating every instrument top GH ten-fold? Trust me when I say price won't be an issue. If one person can't afford the game, he'll find 2 others to go down on it with him... one instrument per person.

I was extremely upset after I beat the game that I could not play devil went down to georgia... that is too great of a song to not be able to play in multiplayer. As for the others, the only other one on there I'd want I all my life by foo fighters, but i'm always up for downloading songs... even if I don't know what they are. :)
Sorry... but every final fantasy's story line sucked huh? Really... because FF7 is regarded by thousands of people to be a great freaking game, and it's not just because of the golden saucer. To-date, I still think that game has one of, if not the best story line ever put into a video game.

Assasin's Creed, Rock Band, GH3, Mario Galaxy... all of which, plus the ones you said have better chances of becoming GotY than Bioshock IMO.
Not only do I not understand why the hell they are giving GotY out in October... but why Bioshock? I mean, sure I enjoyed it... but I know i'll never care to play it again. There's no replay value, the story was... ok... and gameplay was "pretty" fun. I seriously do not understand the greatness of this game, please someone enlighten me.
Sadly, this is a growing trend these days, due to the fact there is more emphasis put on multiplayer. You get extremely short single player games with hopes that the multiplayer will have you playing for months... which almost always doesn't happen.

Nor were the first two either, yet both were highly regarded as so at release. Everyone has their own tastes, and halo is just a compilation of great ideas from other great games before it. That's how it works. I've yet to really see anything innovative come from this series, and in my opinion, that is was makes truly great games.
No, halo 3 isn't a great game, but the original titles that helped make it what it is are.

Honestly I don't know how you could believe that was the best of the series, unless you have never played any other game or you are just on a nastalgic trip. FF7 > FF6 > FF9 > > > > > > >FF8 >FF1.
Final Fantasy is one of the longest running game series to-date, and it's showing no signs of stopping any time soon. You go ask any kid under the age of 16, maybe even older if he'd ever play a PS1 game, and you'd probably get a "NO, those graphics are so crappy and old!". It makes sense to remake the best Final Fantasy game ever made (I realize that's not how you feel, but the majority believe the best to be FF7) and give the younger generations the same great experience we had....
I think it's just telling you that if you want to know more, go out and buy FF7. Perhaps a re-release, or maybe even come out as a downloadable game? Also, those screens looked like they were from Advent Children.
I do hope they remake it, but I still have my doubts.
but that website is purely ESTIMATES.... and I use that term loosely. I wouldn't even use that website to get a rough idea of who's in the lead. Also those numbers are based on consoles sold to consumer, not customer.
Experience good multiplayer in a game like this, and if you say splinter cell I will slap you.
